It feels like summer has come to an abrupt end here in Vancouver – our long sunny October has morphed into rainy, dark days and there seems to be a Halloween costume pop-up shop on every corner. Now that the leaves on the trees are turning vivid colors and dropping to the ground, true winter doesn’t seem that far away – especially since receiving this: The Got Craft Holiday 2012 Look Book.

Beautiful, isn’t it?
I am excited to be participating in Got Craft? for the first time this year. Andrea and Rob, who curate the event, have added a number of DIY workshops this time. As part of this line-up, I will be providing drop-in embroidery lessons from 10-noon each morning (December 8 & 9, 2012 at the Croatian Cultural Centre in Vancouver). Drop by my table and make something with me. I’ll also be selling my books and signing copies later on each day.
