Looking for something to do in the Lower Mainland this weekend? Do not miss Got Craft? one of my favourite local design and craft shows!
Sunday, May 8, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
the Royal Canadian Legion
2205 Commercial Drive in Vancouver.
Admission is $3.00.
Please note that the fair is located on the 2nd floor with no wheelchair access.
Got Craft? features over 55 designers from across the Lower Mainland, Whistler, Victoria and Winnipeg selling handmade goods such as handbags, ceramics, stationary, silk-screened clothing, plush toys, body products. The event will also feature a demo and free crafting session taught by the amazing team of Henry and Lili of Spool of Thread sewing lounge (Full disclosure: their beautiful store will be the site of my next book launch).
What other details do I need to convince you? Vancouverites, go out and support your local D-I-Y community. Organizers Andrea, Rob, and Kim are huge advocates for the local craft and design community. Show up, buy some swanky goods, and let them know that you agree that indie matters!
